- After waiting another day for the wind to back a little more southerly than the constant westerlies we had been having, a cracking sail in David K's trimaran from Cawsand to St Mawes on the Fal Estuary. The wind was maybe slightly higher than forecast at F5 gusting maybe F6 and combined with the week's strong westerlies, the seas were mostly 1.5m to 2m - maybe a little more (well) off Dodmans Point. Made for a fast and fun sail. Then tucked up nicely on a visitors buoy in St Mawes on the Fal Estuary. The more prosaic journey home by train wasn't bad either!
