At the start of May 2025 there was a Starcross Yacht Club "cruise in company" to the Channel Islands
and France. Derek H kindly offered me a place on his Westerly Fulmar yacht. The table below links to GPS tracks and some photos from that trip.

Sail down to Brixham | Thursday 1st May 2025 | A sail from Starcross down to Brixham ready for the channel crossing to St Peter Port - Guernsey. Quite a noisy night given it was the lead up to Pirate Weekend at Brixham. |
Brixham to Guernsey | Friday 2nd May 2025 | A fairly light wind, down wind sail across from Brixham to St Peter Port in Guernsey. |
St Peter Port to St Cast in Brittany | Monday 5th May 2025 | From St Peter Port on Guernsey across to St Cast in Brittany. Another down wind sail but with stronger winds. |
St Cast to Granville in Normandy | Wednesday 7th May 2025 | From St Cast on to Granville on the Normandy coast. Heading east to get a better wind angle for the trip back to Guernsey. |
Granville to Havre Gosselin, Sark | Thursday 8th May 2025 | From Granville around the south of Jersey to the anchorage at Havre Gosselin on Sark. |
Sark to St Peter Port | Friday 9th May 2025 | From Havre Gosselin, Sark back to Victoria Marina in St Peter Port, Guernsey. We arrived in time to catch much of the 80th anniversary celebrations for Liberation Day. |
St Peter Port back to the Exe | Sunday 11th May 2025 | No lack of incident or excitement on the long trip back from St Peter Port to the Exe! Almost no wind meant that this was mostly motoring. |
