- And Kilroy. And Aidan, Liz and Scooby. A walk round a bit of Arran taking in the cave where Robert The Bruce was meant to have watched the spider doing its thing. Part of drive right around the island of Arran - about 50 or so miles. Most of the road was two way lanes but quite narrow. Past a Stagecoach bus that was stuck in a ditch by the side of the road with all the passengers milling about. I'm guessing the driver tried to make room for camper van scum like us and got it wrong. Ho hom. After that, we barely saw a car (or van) ahead of us or behind us which made for very pleasant slow driving and sight seeing. Scooby's blog entry: My sixth day in a row off the lead on a beach. Heaven. My turds are now half James Welbeloved and half Scottish sand.
