Description
The weather forecast was poor so we thought we'd make this the day to "do" Lerwick and the Shetland Museum. First up a big thank you to The Dowry for doing good food and allowing our doggie in - a bit of a first for Shetland. Secondly, the Shetland Museum was outstanding. My main interest is in the periods up to and including the Vikings but it has lots to grab your interest across all time periods. Very definitely recomended. Interesting walk around the harbour including starting at a yacht with a rig that I'd never seen before (see the photos).
