Description
The ferry back from Lyness (on Hoy) to Houton (on the Orkney mainland). Not many photos as it was just too wet and windy to sit outside during the ferry crossing. By way of a diversion, I've attached a screen grab of the marine chart as we were crossing. I was intrigued to see a buoy named "Barrel Of Butter". Two years ago I was sailing in to L'Aber W'rach in Brittany and was amused to see a buoy named "Petit Pot Du Beurre" so I took a photo then - see https://thegpsblog.com/activities/brest-to-laber-wrach/photos
