- Bit of an odd one. After walking from St Mawes to St Just along the west side of the Roseland Peninsula, the idea was to catch a bus across the peninsula to Porthscatho and then walk the coast path back to Merrose camp site near Trewithian. However, the road down to Portscatho was blocked so the bus driver dropped us off on the A3078 about a mile away. After noodling across some fields, we reached the coast path near Porthbean Beach and then turned round and walked back to the campsite,
