- On to Stromness. The idea had been for one night here and then on to the island of Hoy. However, the weather tomorrow looks likely to be the worst of the week (it's not looking great all week), so we'll be in Stromness for 2 days planning to visit the Brough of Birsay and Skara Brae tomorrow. Another Orcadian ice cream today but not quite as good as the one at Lybster. There's something about Stromness that reminds us of Cornish villages like Cawsand.
