- First time out in my new Perception Triumph 13 kayak. Lot of fun. Fast - compared to our other canoe / kayak. But, as expected, it does weathercock. There was a fairly light wind from the west and the boat was definitely turning into the wind. Controllable with paddling but I suspect a rudder kit will be coming sooner than I'd originally planned.
