A bike ride along the Exe Estuary and canal to meet up with Rose and Midge for the first time in ages. Wobbled back along the cycle path and stopped at SYC for a quick view of the 2nd day of the Exe Regatta.
Into Exeter and Dawlish with Liz for some shopping. Headwind on the way out.
Into Exeter looking at double glazing (shut - would be dull) and kayaks (much more interesting).
A wet and bouncy tender ride out to Triskelle in a F5 / F6. Then motored up to The Turf to lock into the canal ready for Triskelle's mast to come down tomorrow.
Post work ride. Back via the Turf Locks to ask Mark S how his hangover was - given that Exeter City won promotion the previous evening.

A canoe trip from SYC to the Turf Pub on the Exe Estuary. Set out near low tide. Journey follows the just greater than paddle depth contour on the way out and later, with the higher tide, on the way back.
