|Breakfast at Mylor
||Walk with wife and hound to Mylor for some breakfast. Then along to watch the kids from Restronguet Sailing Club playing "how many times can you capsize a Mirror" in the F5ish winds
|Free sailing at SYC
||A really steady F3 to F4 wind made for some great sailing on bank holiday Monday. The sea fog cleared intermittently to even give some sun. The average moving speed of 5 knots is none to shoddy for a 30 year old beaten up Wayfarer.
|April Free Sailing
||A pleasant sail back and forth across the estuary. Started about F4 gusting F5 so we went out with one reef. Wind eased so we shook out the reef. The offshore lifeboat came up the river.
|Free Sailing Safety Boat
||Doing safety boat for a Free Sailing at SYC on a lovely summer's afternoon. A pleasant F3 with the occasional gust made for almost ideal sailing conditions with just a few things to keep us slightly busy. A surprising overall distance as we spent the first 15 minutes at anchor (and expected to remain there for much of the afternoon!)
|SYC safety boat
||Safety boat for free sailing day at SYC
|Mylor harbour for breakfast
||From Mylor Bridge to Mylor Harbour and on past Restronguet Sailing Club
|Restronguet Creek and Pandora Inn
||A walk from Mylor Bridge to Restronguet Creek to the Pandora Inn. The Pandora Inn had burnt down since the last time we were here but has been sympathetically restored. Back along Mylor Creek to the Mylor Bridge
|Creeks and kingfishers
||First canoe trip of the 2015 summer holiday. From Mylor harbour, a little way up Restronguet creek up past the Pandora Inn, on to Looe Beach and then back via Mylor Creek. Had a kingfisher with us for quite a way up Mylor creek.
