- With Malcolm B for a blustery sail in the Wayfarer on the Exe. The Met Office forecast was F4 gusting F6 and, for once, that is what we got when out of the lee of the land. Good fun but made trickier by the frequent lulls. F6 gust one second and next to nothing the next! Not bad average and top speeds in an old Wayfarer with very little tide assist.
