- Out with an ebbing Spring tide. With 14-15 knot winds from the east, the channel past Exmouth beach had some reasonable (1 metre-ish) wind against tide waves. So we turned round and came back against the tide. Easy when there is wind - slightly harder (even on a Dart) when the wind drops!
