- A walk on higher Dartmoor - near Lydford. The first half of this walk would be great in wetter weather as it is along old peat cutting tramways. The second would be a bit more muddy. If doing again - a reminder to ourselves - turn right before the old lime kilns to avoid the really boggy path. Max elevation 549 metres but only 287 metres climbed so fairly gentle.
